Grate one and a half teaspoon of ginger and add it to 1 cup of boiled water. You can add flavors such as honey and drink this tea for at least four times a day.

Basil is a great herb that can help you fight fever quickly. This herb is usually effective just like any other antibiotic in the market. Boil around 20 basil leaves, add a teaspoon of grated ginger and then boil it until the liquid reduces to half. You can add honey and drink it at least three times a day for better relief.  

Home remedies to fight fever have proven to be effective just like any other antibiotics out there. Remember that these antibiotics may not cure your underlying illness and problems. So, if the fever continues for days, it’s important you see a physician as soon as possible.
